About Vaniscope: Perspective Atelier

Discover how artists make a flat picture feel deep. In Vaniscope: Perspective Atelier, a miniature architectural scene becomes a hands-on perspective study. Follow receding edges, find the horizon and place the vanishing points that bring the view into balance.

Work through 180 studies across three difficulties. First Lines introduces a single receding direction and the horizon. Point Finder adds an off-center vanishing point, while Twin Perspective asks you to compare two receding directions. Trace the evidence before checking your construction. The challenge is to understand how the lines relate, rather than guess a hidden picture.

Linear perspective became an important part of early fifteenth-century Florentine painting. Vaniscope turns that idea into an original, colorful studio puzzle, with clear geometric guides and room to reconsider each placement.

How to Play Vaniscope: Perspective Atelier

Choose First Lines (Easy), Point Finder (Medium) or Twin Perspective (Hard). Each course has 60 studies. First Lines keeps the vanishing point centered so you can focus on the horizon. Point Finder lets you position a point horizontally. Twin Perspective introduces two receding edge families with two vanishing points.

Click or tap visible scene edges or their trace buttons. Trace at least two violet edges; in Twin Perspective, trace both peach edges too. The extended edges show where each parallel family meets.

Drag the horizon and point markers to the meeting points. Vertical movement carries the shared horizon. Select a control and use the arrow buttons for small moves, or turn on Fine adjustment for closer work. Press Check when the required edges are traced. Follow the feedback to refine your placement. Undo restores a previous step; Reset begins that study again; Hint offers guidance.

Desktop: press 1 for Horizon, 2 for the violet point and 3 for the peach point when available. Arrow keys nudge the selected control; Shift plus an arrow makes a finer move. H gives a hint, R resets and M toggles sound. With the picture focused, Enter checks or continues. Enter activates a focused button normally.

Mobile: tap trace buttons or scene edges, drag the horizon and markers, and use the on-screen nudge, fine-adjustment and action buttons.

Earn three stars for solving on your first check without hints, two stars within three checks without hints, or one star for any completed study. Your best result is kept when you revisit a study. Use the study menu to return to earlier work or choose another course.
