About Mossling Bounds: Canopy Peaks

High above the forest floor, the giant trees of the Canopy Peaks hide a glowing Heart Seed, and only Mossling, a tiny round sprite of moss with a leaf sprout on its head, is light enough to reach it. Run, hop and bounce across mossy branches, leaf pads and springy mushroom caps in this colorful 3D platformer. Collect sparkling dewdrops, find the three hidden golden acorns in every stage and touch glowing flowers to save your progress.

Each of the 24 levels adds something new: moving vine rafts, crumbling bark, thorn patches, beetles you can stomp, rolling acorns, wind gusts and spinning seed pods, plus four special stages. Choose Easy, Medium or Hard to change your lives, how many checkpoints you get, enemy speed and gap sizes. The game has smooth, responsive controls on desktop and on mobile with a touch joystick, and it is free to play in your browser.

How to Play Mossling Bounds: Canopy Peaks

Goal: Reach the glowing Heart Seed at the end of each level. Along the way, collect dewdrops and the 3 golden acorns.

1. Desktop: WASD or the arrow keys to run (relative to the camera), Space to jump (hold it to jump higher). P or Esc pauses.
2. Mobile: drag the left joystick to run and tap the JUMP button (hold it for a higher jump).
3. Bouncy mushrooms launch you high. Moving vines carry you. Crumbling bark falls soon after you land on it.
4. Falling, thorns, rolling acorns and touching a beetle's side each cost a life. Stomp beetles from above. Touch a glowing flower to set a checkpoint.
5. Stars: 1 for finishing, +1 for all 3 golden acorns, +1 for beating the par time.
6. Levels: 24 levels, and each new mechanic is introduced with a hint. Levels 6, 12, 18 and 24 are special stages.
7. Difficulty: Easy gives 5 lives, a checkpoint every 3 sections, wider platforms and shorter gaps. Medium gives 4 lives. Hard gives 3 lives, fewer checkpoints, faster enemies, quicker-crumbling bark and longer leaps.
