About Bristlebank Burrows
Join a little badger surveyor in Bristlebank Burrows, a thoughtful 3D meadow puzzle inspired by Hitori. Numbered stones fill a miniature garden, but repeated numbers are blocking the way. Turn selected stones into burrows while preserving one connected stretch of meadow.
Three rules guide every decision: the remaining numbers must be unique within each row and column, burrows must never share an edge, and every remaining stone must connect to the others. Watch the live duplicate, burrow, and meadow indicators as you work. A move can fix one conflict while creating another, so careful planning matters more than speed.
Play 60 distinct levels on each of three difficulty settings, growing from four-by-four to six-by-six gardens. Every generated challenge has a verified solution. There is no timer. Undo, contextual hints, restart, level selection, and saved campaign progress let you explore at your own pace. Tap the 3D board, use accessible button controls, or play with the keyboard. A friendly animated Blender-built badger, tactile local 3D assets, soft sound effects, and a mute toggle complete the woodland setting.
How to Play Bristlebank Burrows
- Select a difficulty and level, then press Let’s play.
- Tap a numbered stone to turn it into a burrow; tap a burrow to restore the stone.
- Leave no repeated numbers in any row or column. Burrows cannot share an edge, and all remaining stones must stay connected.
- Use the three live indicators to check your plan. Undo reverses the latest change; Hint suggests a useful stone.
- On desktop, use the mouse or arrow keys and Space/Enter. Button controls also support Tab and Enter. Mobile players can tap the 3D board or the button grid.
- Solve the meadow, then choose Next level. Each difficulty has 60 levels. H gives a hint, U undoes, R restarts, and Sound on/off controls audio.
