About Thermowisp: Heat-Mix Lab
Step into Thermowisp’s cheerful tabletop lab and help a mint axolotl make the perfect water batch. Each puzzle gives you limited hot and cold charges and two goals: an exact volume and an exact temperature. Choose the right combination before committing your mix.
Work through 180 campaign puzzles across three difficulties. Apprentice starts with two sources and equal-size charges. Technician introduces different charge sizes and a third source, while Calorimetrist adds a fourth source and tighter stock choices. A larger charge contributes more to the final temperature, so the proportions matter as much as the source temperatures.
Stage, reconsider and mix. Helpful hints suggest a next step, and unsuccessful batches explain whether you need a different volume or a warmer or cooler balance. A friendly 3D assistant and a colorful tabletop lab turn each challenge into a small experiment in careful planning.
Earn up to three stars per campaign batch and revisit puzzles to improve your best result. Your campaign progress and best stars are saved on this device. Switch to Practice for a fresh, repeatable challenge whenever you want another mix.
How to Play Thermowisp: Heat-Mix Lab
Choose Apprentice (Easy), Technician (Medium) or Calorimetrist (Hard). Each difficulty has 60 campaign levels. Apprentice uses two sources and four charge bays; Technician uses three sources and five bays; Calorimetrist uses four sources and six bays.
Read the target volume in mL and temperature in °C. Check each source’s temperature, charge size and remaining stock. Click or tap a source to add one measured charge to an empty bay. You must stay within both the finite stock and the bay limit.
Plan a combination that reaches BOTH goals. Bigger charges have more influence on the mixed temperature. Click or tap an occupied bay to remove its charge, use Undo, or Clear the bays to reconsider your plan. Hint offers a useful next step without mixing the batch for you.
Press Mix to commit your batch. If either goal is missed, use the volume and temperature feedback to adjust your plan and try again. Match both goals to continue to the next level.
Desktop: click a source card or 3D cartridge, or press 1–4 to add one whole charge from the corresponding source. Use Backspace to undo, Enter to mix, R to clear and M to mute. After a result, Enter chooses Adjust or Next as shown. Escape closes an open help or science dialog.
Mobile: tap the source cards, occupied bays and labeled action buttons. Use the on-screen sound control to mute or unmute.
Stars: earn three stars for a first-mix solution without hints, two stars within two mixes without hints, or one star for any solved batch. The game keeps your best stars for each campaign batch. Use the batch menu to revisit a puzzle. Practice offers fresh solvable batches without changing campaign stars.
Keyboard focus: Enter activates a focused button normally. When the lab is focused, Enter mixes or continues; clicking a source or planning tool returns focus to the lab.
