About Tether Tinker: Battery Drop

Tinker is a tiny repair robot with a very important catch tray. Snip suspension cords to release a golden battery, let the remaining tether shape its swing and roll the cart into position before the charge falls past. Forty-eight repair bays introduce shifting suspension points, a third cord and changing airflow. Real rope constraints and gravity create a new timing puzzle in every bay. Three difficulties change the drop speed and airflow strength, while unlimited retries encourage experimenting with the perfect release.

How to Play Tether Tinker: Battery Drop

Click Start bay. Cut cords by tapping a cord in the 3D scene or pressing its CUT button. Desktop: Space cuts the next attached cord; Left and Right arrows move the robot cart. Mobile: use the position slider or hold the left and right buttons. Cut one cord to make the battery swing, then cut the last cord to release it. Catch the battery on the copper tray. Watch the airflow indicator from bay 3 onward. The first two bays teach a clean drop; a third cord appears from bay 9. Complete a catch and choose Next bay through 48 bays. Easy, Medium and Hard change gravity and airflow. Retry bay resets the current setup. Toggle sound at the top.
