About Mesa Motors: Red Rock Rally

Buckle up with Dusty the jackrabbit in Mesa Motors: Red Rock Rally, a free 3D arcade racing game set among towering red mesas, natural stone arches and giant saguaro cacti. Slam the gas in your open-top rally buggy, fly off dirt jumps, hit glowing boost pads and hold a drift through banked hairpins until the sparks turn orange — then let go for a mini-turbo that rockets you past coyotes, gila monsters and roadrunners.

Race through 20 levels in five cups — Canyon, Dune, Arch, Sunset and a Night Cup lit only by your headlights — each adding a new desert hazard like sand drifts, tumbleweeds, boulders and spinning dust devils. Pick Easy, Medium or Hard to set the lap count and rival speed, finish on the podium to earn up to three stars, and play right in your browser on desktop with the keyboard or on mobile with touch controls in portrait or landscape.

How to Play Mesa Motors: Red Rock Rally

Goal: Finish each race in the top three — 1st place earns 3 stars, 2nd 2 stars, 3rd 1 star; 4th or worse means try again.

Desktop: ↑/W accelerate, ↓/S brake & reverse, ←/→ or A/D steer, hold Space while turning to drift. Esc or P pauses.
Mobile: the buggy accelerates by itself. Hold ◀ ▶ to steer (a light steering assist follows the bend when you let go), hold DRIFT while steering to slide, and press BRAKE to slow down. Works in portrait and landscape.
Drift boost: keep drifting until the sparks turn orange (mini-turbo) or pink (super-turbo), then release.
Track: boost pads speed you up, jumps launch you into the air, and off-road sand and sand drifts slow you down. Watch the mini-map, the lap counter and your position.
Levels: 20 races in 5 cups — Canyon (jumps & boost pads), Dune (sand drifts & tumbleweeds), Arch (rock arches & boulders), Sunset (dust devils), Night (headlights only, mixed hazards).
Difficulty: Easy = 2 laps, relaxed rivals and a front-row start; Medium = 3 laps; Hard = 3 laps against faster, pushier rivals.
