About Glyphgrove: Temple Sudoku Tiles

Deep in the jungle, an ancient temple floor waits to be restored. In Glyphgrove: Temple Sudoku Tiles you place carved stone glyph tiles – sun, moon, leaf, eye, wave, flame, star, feather and spiral – so that every row, column and box holds each symbol exactly once. Koko, a cheerful monkey explorer in a pith helmet, hops onto every tile you set. Each finished row, column or box bursts into glowing vines, and torches and fireflies light up the mossy 3D ruins around you.

Play 30 hand-tuned levels on each of three difficulties. Easy grows from cozy 4×4 shrines to 6×6 courtyards and 9×9 temples, Medium goes from 6×6 to 9×9, and Hard brings sparse 9×9 grids. Every puzzle has exactly one solution. Pencil notes, undo, erase, limited hints and a 1–9 number overlay help you think. Wrong tiles crack and cost a heart, and you earn stars for clean, fast solves. It works with mouse and keyboard on desktop or with big touch controls on mobile, and it's free to play in your browser.

How to Play Glyphgrove: Temple Sudoku Tiles

Goal: Fill the temple floor so every row, every column and every box (gold lines) contains each glyph exactly once – classic Sudoku with carved stone symbols.

  1. Desktop: click a cell, then click a glyph in the palette or press 1–9. Arrow keys/WASD move the selection, N or Space toggles notes, Z undoes, Backspace/Delete erases, H uses a hint, L shows numbers on the glyphs.
  2. Mobile: tap a cell, then tap a glyph in the big palette at the bottom. Buttons for Notes, Undo, Erase, Hint and 1-9 sit below it.
  3. Notes: in Notes mode, glyphs are pencilled into a cell as small marks.
  4. Mistakes: a wrong tile cracks and crumbles and costs a ♥. Lose all 3 hearts and you retry the level.
  5. Hints: reveal a correct tile (Easy 3, Medium 2, Hard 1 per level).
  6. Stars: ★★★ for no mistakes, no hints and under par time. Each slip costs stars.
  7. Levels: 30 per difficulty, each puzzle fixed and with a unique solution. Easy goes 4×4 → 6×6 → 9×9, Medium 6×6 → 9×9, Hard is mostly 9×9 with very few clues.
